Julie Kim is an award-winning supervising field producer and videographer for NBC News based in New York.

She is the recipient of two National Emmys and a duPont-Columbia award for her coverage on Bill Cosby’s sexual assault cases that marked the rise of the

#MeToo movement.

A few of her most recent work: she has filmed documentaries and breaking news on the Covid-19 pandemic and BLM protests in the States, climate change in Antarctica, elephant poaching in Kenya, and the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics in South Korea.

When she’s not out filming and flying drone, she pretends to be an artist – painting and playing on her Korg – and is a proud plant mom of exotic arid creatures.
